Rules of Caucus
Since Garth can't figure what went wrong at caucus, I've done a bit of deep research, using a team of MIT rocket surgeons, to come up with the complete list of Caucus rules.
Here they are:
The first rule of caucus is that you do not talk about caucus.
The second rule of caucus is that you do not talk about caucus.
3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes limp, taps out - you do not talk about it if it happened in caucus.
4th RULE: If two guys fight - you do not talk about it if it happened in caucus.
5th RULE: One fight at a time in caucus - and no talking about it.
6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes? - you do not talk about it if it happened in caucus.
7th RULE: Caucus will go on as long as they have to.
8th RULE: If this is your first night at caucus, you HAVE to fight. And no-one will talk about it!

I have no problem with caucus being a place to brainstorm any and all ideas for everyone to consider. Just because it was discussed, does not make it policy. What truely matters is what is brought to the house of commons. If you are against it, Prime Minister Harper's push for free votes will let you vote against it. If you don't like the party system, then be an independent MP.
