Paul Martin, Canada’s beleaguered Prime Minister, is reported by an "knowledgeable government source" to have desecrated the Conservatives platform book.
The source said on Tuesday that on Parliament hill in Ottawa Martin had flushed the Conservative holy book down the toilet.
The source said Martin received the book from turncoat Belinda Stronach, who had stolen it before defecting from the Conservatives to the Liberal party yesterday.
