The Canadian media seem to be embracing Stephen Harper at this key time for the new Conservative party.
Delegates at the Conservative convention expect the media will be nothing short of "loving" after the initial display a few days ago.
"Even the CBC are getting into bed with us. It's great" a party member reported, "I'm not sure how long the honeymoon will last though".

C'mon, the CBC has been unable to report on conservatives without either their reporters mentioning "extreme" opinions or bashing them for not spending enough.
CBC ignored yesterday's COMPAS results indicating that the CPC actually represents real Canadian views, rather than the views of CBC reporters.
It was the Liberals who are embracing the extreme policies at their convention. It was Liberals who sought to silence dissenters and were the most intolerant of alternate opinions, but CBC didn't report that.
Have you noted the number of CBC reporters, management and executives that have jumped CBC ship to join Liberals, run as Liberals or lobby the Liberals?
Oh, the CBC didn't give that bigger picture...

There's a thin brown line between punditry and becoming a political lackey. The CBC has crossed that line more times than I can count.
Is it the male media or the female media embracing Mr. Harper? Just wondering.

Looks like the embrace is really happenen this afternoon.
Yeah it was sad wasn't it but Stephen did get some revenge though.
I watched the coverage on CBC newsworld (an oxymoron if I ever read one), and they focused in on Harper during the questions and none of the reporters could be seen on the feed provided to the CBC. Made it look like a bunch of yahoos shouting out catcalls at a hoedown!!
Makes you wonder...who are the extremists? ;)
