Kyotolgy
The Church of Kyotology reminds me of Scientology (without the cool alien thing!)
Kyotology attacks free speech. Any questioning of the god Kyoto results in cries of "Global Warming" denier!
Kyotology says that public statements against Kyotology such as writing anti-Kyotology letters to the papers and in blogs is a "Suppressive Act" - a high crime, according to "Introduction to Kyotology Ethics."
In accordance with this policy (and others like it), Kyotology has tried to silence all criticism.
Kyotology betrays the trust of well-intentioned people by falsely claiming to have a scientifically-proven technology to save the world.

Careful. you might be charged with heat crime.
Canadians don't need gov't to implement Kyoto, if it's so good then Kyoto's high priests should be able to seperate Canadians from their money right now.
We could start sending boatloads of cash to China next week, why wait? Surely environmentalists would max out their credit cards to save the planet?
I love the analogy/comparison to the church! very funny!!!
"heat crime" I like it! It's got a nice ring to it...
I can never figure out how they explain global warming that took us from the ice appr 10,000 years ago to the defrosting of the Bering Straits appr. 8,000 year ago.
Somebody help me O_O
Yeah man!
You know what we need to do is start burning these scientific journals and books and the problem will go away.
Hold up..
Are any of you guys scientists at all?
Of course not, you gain you're scientific knowledge from politics.
LOL and the stongest force in your political party is big buisness.
And of course big buisness does not want to have to conform and accept the notion of the enviroment in the systemization of our labor forces because we might lose some money :(
Oh wait everything is at stake!
Man im gonna sound like an ass for saying this but you guys are the biggest jokes of life.
notloz - every one knows that it is the liberal party that is bed with big business -
I would say that th liberal party supports ellitest practices for big canadian buisness. However the new conservative party follows that trend more so. Both of the two big parties are corrupt to the core. We should elect a goverment that has not had the chance to show canadians what their made of.
NDP way to BE
Ya, the former Provincial NDP governments have done such great jobs in Ontario and B.C. I think we can totally trust them with the whole country.
I guess if we're all on some sort of social support because we don't have jobs we won't have all that extra cash we'd just waste on green house gas emitters like heating our homes.
@Notloz: and we all know what good the NDP has done for Saskatchewan. Really, do you know that Sask has the capacity to be as rich as Alberta? So what they do you suppose is the difference? One is the lack of people who've moved out due to the pathetic economy there and the other is the fact that they are goverened by the NDP.
Also, do we really need to be a scientist to figure out that Kyoto is unreachable and impracticle?
News Flash:
A mass hysteria called Kyotolgy has been infecting the Canadian public and the MSM at an alarming rate.
Symptoms:
The sudden willingness to:
a. Close our factories and industries that employ us
b. Shut down our power stations that give us electricity and keep us warm
c. Give up driving our cars
d. Send billions of our hard-earned dollars to bigger polluters such as China, Russia and India for magic beans called emission credits
e. Revert to a lifestyle similar to the Amish
Precaution:
Stay very far away from the mass hysteria that is being emitted from environmentalists such as David Suzuki, Elizabeth May and their followers in the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, the Green Party, NDP and their MSM buddies as their message is highly contagious and will brainwash members of the public who are not able to think for themselves and trust everything that they dish out.
Antidote:
A ounce or two of reality and common sense and the exposure to credible articles explaining the damage to our society, economy, livelihood and standard of living if the Kyoto emissions target for 2012 were suddenly imposed on our country.
This fits right in with your use of the term "Kyotology"."
Environmentalism, apocalypse and pseudo-religion".
Also on the subject is Dr. Sanity
Well If you guys want to start analyzing provincial goverments and balanced budggets then the NDP would be the party you would want to vote for having a better track record then both the liberal and conservative parties.
Tony you're comments are rhetorical at best, Sask has in my opinion has done a much better, a much more concentious approach to economic development. That takes the ENVIROMENTAL and HEALTHCARE costs in equation rather then full expoitation of canada and canadians in order to transfer of wealth to American enterprise.
You see the left is more knowledgeable in their analysis of metaphysics and eplstomology. Thats why people of intelligence are left wing. IE... professeurs scientists etc... they unlike you are not a funcioning arm of the econmic system... Human greed...
See, intellectuals from universities and the like on the left are smart, honest, non-greedy people that have no aspirations for political power or money or anything of the sort whatsoever! Surely, we can trust them more than we do ourselves! Quick, elect them now so they may enlighten us with their holier-than-thou opinions, and shut down those who say otherwise!
... Yeah, this discussion will end well.
