"Kyoto" put down by Canadians?

Well, at least according to this poll!

Where should the bulk of federal government moneys spent on climate variability be concentrated?

Implementation of tough greenhouse (Kyoto) gas regulations 11.2%

Adapting economy to the impact of anticipated climate change 18.2%

Incentives for alternate energy products 68.8%

Other (email mornings@cfra.com) 1.61%
Total Votes: 1489

Good Lord! That's an online question, not a statistically valid survey! It means nothing other than that's how the people who *chose* to participate voted!!

Are you shocked Anon, that Canadians want 'choice' rather than Kyoto?

Never underestimate the sensibilities of Canadians.

Hopefully Canadians are starting to realize that Kyoto is a complete crock.

Of course its an online poll and you can't use it as a scientific study, but I bet there has never been a scientific survey asking this question. I'm guessing its because the media doesn't really want to know the Answers.

Better question:
"Do you want your taxes to go up by x% at a total cost to Canadian taxpayers of $y billion in order to reducegreen house gases, which we are not 100% sure how they effect climate, nor are we sure the impact, if any, of these reductions?"
