Update on YWCA Daycare Report
I posted a story last week about the CTV story covering the YWCA study that was long on rhetoric and short on facts. Some others in the blogsphere have been writing about this bogus story as well. Plattytalk, Joan Tintor, and Sara (Choice For Childcare) have all dissected this bogus study, as well as the media coverage around it, and have, well basically called bullshit on it. Another intrepid blogger (Joanne)however took it to the next level and actually did some digging of her own and uncovered some very interesting things about the CTV version of this story. Its fun to stay at the YMCA!!!How do you think the village people turned out the way they did!
A new report on daycare indicates that 243% of Canadians want adults to be institutionalized 20 times out of 19. It is now fact. I await a statement from Jack Layton, but only if he gives it while sitting in Peter Mansbridge's lap.
I say we start a choice for childcare blogger group, so we can say we belong when the media calls.. Actually I'm liking this... anyone else in... oh yah if you want to cry check out my last blog...
